Application Criteria

Venture Causeway is open to applicants who either have a business or intend to start a business in the Borough of Coleraine

Our Champions are looking for feasible business propositions with growth potential and with a financial need where funding and mentoring can make all the difference to the success of the idea.

Application for the competition is simple. Vist the Apply Now section and click the link to download your application pack. Make a note of the important dates too!

Important Dates

If you’d like to apply then please make note of the following important dates:

  • Venture Causeway launches at 12 noon on 8 May 2013 at Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart.
  • Competition opens for entries from Wednesday 08 May
  • Closing date for entries is Wednesday 29 May 2013 at 5pm.
  • Finalists will notified by Friday 28 June 2013.
  • Pitch Perfect Workshops will take place in early September 2013
  • Pitch Events will take place in late September 2013

If selected as a finalist in the competition you will be required to make a 5 minute pitch to the Causeway Champions followed by a Q&A session with the Champions.

Please keep these dates free of appointments if possible as we cannot guarantee that we can allocate you a time slot at your preferred time of day. We will of course do our best to accommodate you, but please be aware that it may not be possible to include you in the competition if your availability is limited.
